I would have voted for Clark anytime, despite my natural suspicion of military men (there is a long story behind that...). From the information I gathered he is solid, and I am pretty confident he could have defeated GW. I cannot vote for Kerry... I simply cannot get myself to dislike him less than I dislike Bush. This process is screwed up. We need some miracle. I hope Clark reconsiders...

but I really wish you would reconsider your vote (or not voting) for Kerry. But that is still months away...

I'm really glad that the Clark & Dean supporters were able to mend a lot of fences over the past few weeks.
I wish all the Dean supporters nothing but the best.

5. I too am a dean supporter |

and I know I will have to vote for Kerry in the end because the alternative is too unthinkable. I hope it's gets more like that song where the girls (or guys) get prettier at closing time.

6. doesn't matter who you "like" . . . |
|
if nothing else, think about the Supreme Court and the disaster that a Bush win would cause . . . we'd have to live with the "Bush court" for 30 or 40 years . . . sometimes you just have to put aside your personal likes and dislikes and do what's right . . .

10. Post this as a separate one! |

This is the most important point why we have to bite the bullet and vote for whomever becomes our Candidate!
Remember, Bush was planning on appointing several Supreme Court Justices during his first term. Amazingly, none have quit or died! And several of them were talking about quitting before the selection! Wonder if they had buyers regret?! Have you noticed that only one Justice shows up for the State of the Union speeches? As far as I know, this is the first time that most, if not all, are not in attendance! hmmmmmm

You're right, the process is screwed up, & I am feeling rather pessimistic about the whole thing.
I believe Dean is sincere about wanting to take back the gov't for the people, however I don't see that happening, at least this time around.
Maybe I'll be more optimistic in the future, but probably not.
