It's too early in Tweety's relationship with Rudy to have tasted him yet.

sike... how they got away with removal and destruction of crime scene evidence like that I will never know...from the "crime of the century," and done right under our noses, no less.
I always wonder about the possible or probable link between their seemingly irrational desire to destroy the evidence quickly and the fact that they declared the (cancerous) air at ground zero safe to breath so quickly after 911.
Giuliani stinks.

It's borderline disgusting how he got cannonized just for doing his job....as if no other mayor would've held his city together after the 9/11 attacks. Plenty of mayors would've responded just as well or better as that arrogant asshole.

Just keep on believing and It will come true.
And if It doesn't come true, it's because you don't believe strongly enough. Failure is your fault, because you are weak.

But of course, given the low standards set for "professional responsibility" that day by the Littlest President, it's not like there was a huge hurdle for him to clear.

34. As mayor of New York, it would have been |
|
helpful if he'd had the common sense to ask himself "Is it healthy for people to be breathing in all this stuff? Shouldn't all the workers at Ground Zero wear masks? Shouldn't we evacuate people who live in the area?"
You don't have to be a health professional to know that breathing in air you can see is not good for you, that inhaling smoke is not good for you, etc. I can see not thinking about this on 9/11 and for a couple of days after, but it should have occurred to Rudy after the initial shock.
A week or two ago, I saw on the news that a firefighter had died as a result of his exposure at Ground Zero. I'm afraid there will be many more deaths associated with 9/11.
We now know the EPA was told to STFU about the lousy air quality so people wouldn't panic, and that's criminal. But if Rudy were a real hero he'd have found out the truth and told it and protected his people.
