Lack of Unity continues to"dog" Dems |
|
MSNBC--Discussion of the Vote for or against The Surge.
When the individual representing Democrats began with "The Democrats do have a plan--it is the Baker Commission plan---She got this far and was interrupted by the Host of the show, Chris Jantzen. 'You cannot say that is the Democratic Plan. Many Democrats have not signed off on this plan. The Democrats are all over the place and are not unified.
As long as we are descibed as not unified, we are ineffective.
When it is down to the crunch the Republicans will vote against their own bills in order to hold the party together, ie, Warner.

1. As long as the dems propose the Baker-Hamilton plan as theirs, |
|
this is a problem. The Baker-Hamilton is NOT the Democratic plan. This is as simple as that. Who was this representative?

5. This was a ayoung woman |
|
whom I have never seen before Razinger(Spelling)
However I have heard many including Harry Ried cite this plan and cite the number of Dems who support it.
Let us be real the Media know there is a division between DLC and Liberals and they(Media) use this all the time. They see Republicans as disciplined because they can be whipped into lockstep.

2. All I can say is...Thank god we're not like the repulicans. |
|
Granted it makes things much harder for us...but I prefer that over what the repugs have done up until they lost the majority.

They weren't the ones to vote against their own bill. It is pretty well the end of the repukes (you are witnessing the last throes) now that they lost their back bone and are not able to stand up to the bushes. They are going to see their support evaporate in the election. No repuke is ever going to get voted in again, after this. They just committed political suicide.

7. I sincerely hope you are correct. |
|
but the American People can be fickle--especially if the Dems are being portrayed as divided and ineffective.
