3. He looks a bit like an older version of Harry Potter.
Edited on Fri Feb-23-07 10:05 PM by Aussie leftie
His name is Kevin Rudd. He is very intelligent and articulate. He has jumped about 10 points in front of Howard in the preferred prime minister polls. The federal election will be held towards the end of this year, and at the moment our confidence is at an all time high. Howard is a very worried man and he has just discovered that his friendship with Bush no longer carries any weight. Its more of a liability.

4. Haven't you Aussies heard of "Hot Potato?"
(If we had sent Dan Quayle, it would naturally be "Hot Potatoe.")

6. The rubbish rule doesn't apply to international shipments.
As for your questions,

a) Hot Potato(e):

Everybody stands in a circle
Pass a beanbag around circle to music
When music stops person holding beanbag is out

Pretend the beanbag is a very very very HOT POTATO

Contributed by Wendy Peterson

The wonder ball, goes round and round
To pass it quickly, you are bound
If you're the one, to hold it last
The game is past, and you are out!

b) I think he spells it "t-u-m-(uh, shit)."

8. I recall people talking about it.
Don't think anyone ever did it, though.

If you want, you could shoot Cheney into space as a test animal. We wouldn't mind.

9. What a wonderful idea.
We'd have no trouble selling tickets to the launch. With the proceeds we could put it towards indicting the rest of the neocons.

10. I just love internatinal cooperation like that.
BTW, I think I left part of my brain somewhere in King's Cross, Sydney back in '68 while on R&R from Nam. Anybody down there ever find it?

13. I was 18 at the time
My girlfriends and I would go there nearly every Saturday night. We'd have a ball. Never short of a dance partner either. That was our contribution to helping the troops in Vietnam.
