One thing is for sure, Wes Clark has made the Democratic party stronger. No longer can the other party pretend to have a monopoly on defense and foreign policy!

Thanking supporters, giving props to Arkansas...
Thanks his footsoldiers, staff, those who believed in him before he was drafted. Everyone from students to congressmen. It was an honor and a call to duty...proved to him a general can do great things when he has great troops.
Says this has been a cause as much as a campaign.

Applauding Kerry, Edwards, Dean for being real democrats and patriots--our country is well served by them.

|
Says when he got out of military, he knew he had to do something.
He had the four noes: No Money No Staff No Position Papers, and NO political experience, but had hope, a life time of leadership, and vision.
It's not the end of the cause. The real cause is a campaign for the future of America, our families, every american, and that cause will continue.

49. Talking about the American struggle--individuals deserve a strong party |
|
to carry their hopes, committed to their lives, and there is no party more commited to them that the Democratic Party, "my party".
He is tearing up. What a man!
More:
I have nothing against the Republicans, but I am proud to be a democrat. (Said Republicans are there in the audience).
Bush has had three years to move us forward, but has set us bac. 3 million job losses, broken promises, exploding deficits, 44 mil americans without health insurance.
To him, most personal, we have our armed forces bogged down in the wrong war, in a war we didn't have to fight--he is tearing up...about to cry.

87. Is anyone monitoring CSPAN? |
|
I hope they rebroadcast his whole speech. I can't handle hearing it unfinished...
It's too much like his campaign (sigh)

89. They (the media) have the power and they don't want you to forget it |

94. Hey, no problem--make liberal use of it! |
|
:hi:
And also, remember that if you get caught portraying the media for what they are, they will retaliate. Witness what happened to Dean.
I suspect this happened to Clark as well; I only just this morning found out that he wanted to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine.

95. Yeah, that was AEI Schneider |
|
"once he got his message right"... Schneider's such a wanker. Like others are saying in this thread, at least Faux is upfront (though ridiculous) about their bias.

and looked up my e-block. It said that "we are no longer in the race and...." it is no longer running  I hope they do not shut down the site right away. Clark is officially getting on the ballot in Indiana today. I guess I knew he was bowing out because LR asked us to turn the petitions in before 3:00. I was just hoping they were saying that because Clark could change his mind. or whatever. I hope they all kiss his *.
