Walter Reed Uproar Refuels Iraq Debate
Walter Reed Case Lends Democrats Fresh Political Ammo In Iraq War Debate

(AP) Democrats are using the uproar over Walter Reed Army Medical Center as their latest cudgel to batter President Bush for his Iraq war policies as the administration shows signs it fears political damage from the revelations.

Reports of patient neglect and shoddy outpatient rooms at the hospital have brought Army brass to Capitol Hill to explain and apologize. Bush's handling of the war has been widely unpopular with voters, and reports about Walter Reed come on the heels of his decision to send more troops to Iraq _ which has also met a negative response from the public.

2. Fight on!
And don't drop the cudgel. Make every blow count! I don't care how old these patients are, they are our children and they need our protection.

3. The way our troops and their families
have been treated is shameful. First, they are sent to fight a war in Iraq that should never have happened, then after they come back broken in body and spirit, they are neglected, denied their rightful benefits, and allowed to drift into poverty and pain. This should show the whole country that Bush and his cronies have viewed the presidency as nothing but an excuse to grab power and enrich themselves and their friends.

This has to be stopped, and exposing Walter Reed was a step in the right direction. The corruption of this administration is seemingly endless. They ruin everything they touch, and have caused hundreds of thousands of deaths and injuries. No wonder Bush is always going to be remembered as the worst president in history, and the most hated by the rest of the world.
