In the current issue of Paris Match -- the one that looks back at Chirac's Presidential career --, there's a large photo of several leaders seated around a table during the G8 summit in 2002, laughing and looking casual. And there's Bush, front and center. On the table before him is, without doubt, a bottle of beer and, in his glass, an amber colored liquid with an obvious foamy "head". Oh, and Bush is laughing, looking totally blitzed while a man opposite him appears to be laughing as well and pointing at him.
I wish I had the technical savvy to post the pic, but if anyone finds it and can Post it, it could become a very interesting conversation and actual "proof" that our president's sobriety is a thing of the past.

1. It's probably a non-alcoholic beer bottle.... |
|
with actual alcoholic beer substituted in the bottle. It's called "plausible denial."

4. I'm looking at Paris Match online, issue no. 3017. |
|
When I click the cover, I go to a page with that cover, and covers of former issues.
If there is some way you can lead me to the picture, I will post if for you.

Unfortunately, as it's a new issue, there doesn't seem to be a link to the article (which isn't the point) or the pictures. Perhaps after a week, the pic will be available.

9. He's been back on the sauce since about 6 months before the 06 election |
|
Most people believe it was when that video was released that proved he was responsible for the levee breaking on New Orleans. He may have tipped a few here and there before then, but he's been binge drinking since then. He's gained weight too.

From the Wayne Madsen report. I don't know how credible this site is, but I have heard numerous stories about The Boy King's drinking exploits.
But, But, he's such a GOOD Christian man...
He's a fucking douchebag, that's what he is.
March 13, 2007 --
Our White House Press Corps sources report further disturbing news about President George W. Bush. Our sources have witnessed a clearly inebriated Bush approaching members of the press corps and making rude comments, including one particularly crude remark about First Lady Laura Bush. In that case, Bush, nodding toward Laura, called her a "c**t." While Bush's drinking is no secret to the White House press contingent, that particular comment was reportedly the worst they have heard uttered by Bush. Our sources also report that Laura Bush's stays at the White House are less frequent and that her overnight trips to the Mayflower Hotel often coincide with the president's drunken binges.
Note: Some of our female readers were shocked to see the "C" word in the above news item. This editor wants to make it clear that word was used by George W. Bush to denigrate his wife. It was his word, not mine. It is important that the public knows what kind of person Mr. Bush is by the offensive words he uses. The editor also wants to make clear that the President chose a public press gaggle to use this word -- that is not a private moment between him and his wife. If Mrs. Bush feels her privacy has been violated, she must understand that it is her responsibility to herself, her children, and the nation to end this abusive relationship by legally separating from the President and becoming a role model for other women around the country and the world who find themselves locked into similar abusive marriages.
Nevertheless, we have "asterisked" the word in question. However, Mr. Bush cannot asterisk his own vile words.

17. I wonder if he will continue to follow his icon, Nero. |
|
He has certainly trod in the footsteps of that mad emperor these past 6 years - the resemblance in their behaviors is uncanny. While we have yet to see Bush perform poetry on a live stage, there are enough points in common. Hopefully, this latest episode is not a presage that Bush will emulate Nero's behavior towards Poppea - they quarreled, he kicked her, she miscarried and died.

is not reliable.
I just find it ridiculous to think the White House Press Corps knows he's a staggering drunk, and not one of them will report it. It's just not rational.
Helen Thomas wouldn't say so? David Gregory? Any young up-and-comer who wants to make a name for him or herself?
No, I don't think the Press is THAT loyal to Bush.

There's also that picture of him at breakfast with Putin and what looked like a bottle of beer on the table in front of him and only him.

many people who don't drink have a glass of whatever on the table during social occasions. They, however, usually have the smarts not to drink it.

Recovering alcoholics regenerate their brain tissue, Chimpy is still drinking heavily. Either that or he was super-stupid to begin with. Definately pathologically impaired function.
