Glennbeckitis; WARNING! Democrats NOT immune.
Edited on Mon Mar-19-07 09:39 AM by Alamom
I have read this over and over, HERE X on DU and many times the only bad thing a Democrat can say about the current frontrunner for the Democratic Party. If you don't like her, fine....find a legitimate reason
PLEASE GET HELP. DON'T BE AS STUPID AS THIS TALKING ASSHOLE.

On his March 15 show, Beck had said: "Hillary Clinton cannot be elected president because ... there's something about her vocal range," and went on to say, "There's something about her voice that just drives me -- it's not what she says, it's how she says it," adding, "She is like the stereotypical -- excuse the expression, but this is the way to -- she's the stereotypical bitch, you know what I mean?"

I can't take it. Blood shoots out of my eyes. There's something about her voice that just grates on me.

I never said that Hillary Clinton was a bitch

Fri, Mar 16, 2007

On the March 16 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, in reference to comments documented by Media Matters for America in which he called Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) "the stereotypical bitch," Glenn Beck said: "Hillary Clinton sounds like the biggest nag on the planet ... I never said that Hillary Clinton -- excuse the language -- I never said that Hillary Clinton was a bitch. I said she sounded like one." He went on to say, "It has nothing to do with her policies, it has nothing to do with her personality, it has nothing to do with what she's actually saying."

Hillary Clinton sounds like the biggest nag on the planet. Sounds like the biggest nag on the planet. I never said that Hillary Clinton -- excuse the language -- I never said that Hillary Clinton was a bitch. I said she sounded like one. It has nothing to do with her policies, it has nothing to do with her personality, it has nothing to do with what she's actually saying. And I have a piece of audio that I'm going to share with you in a few minutes where it is -- I agree with what she's saying. I believe I've actually said the things that she's saying. And yet I can't take it. Blood shoots out of my eyes. There's something about her voice that just grates on me.

1. Sorry, she is a horrible public speaker...

She has a terrible sense of timing and her delivery is wooden. She makes Mondale look smooth and Kerry look humorous. If she is the democratic candidate, I'm going to dread the daily news for months. I also cringe at the thought of her in a debate.

Frankly, considering the last series of candidates for Pres from either party I'm starting to wonder where all our politicians with personality have gone? Bill was the last one with any panache. Gore, Bush, Mondale, Carter, Dukakis, Dole... Is this the best America can do? I hated Reagan's policies but had to admit he could work a crowd.

6. I don't listen to Glenn Beck, but he may have a point
I must say that listening to Hillary on the radio recently, I also found her voice unpleasant. I can see how it might turn some people off. That said, she is not nearly as bad a speaker as the current occupant of the White House.

2. Of course Beck should be deployed for hard labor, but...
...I do think that H. Clinton sounds bad. I don't like the voice, the tone, or quite often the content. It's pedantic but not deep in the least.

3. Anybody with as whiney a voice as Beck's, should not critique
anyone else's vocal range. As maddening as his inane opinions are, his delivery only adds to the excruciating pain of listening to the fool.Pity the country that relies on former disc jockeys to explain ethics and geopolitics to it.
