He discussed what he was doing and working on with specific legislation
He stated coldly the situation.
No remorse and he affirmed his complete support for the Second Amendment.
No comment on whether he thinks he is above the DC gun laws (great question)
2 questions and he is gone!

He handled himself well, given the situation. His 'tude WILL resonate with the southern end of the state, and the northern end will make allowances due to his other stances.
Hell, If Mrs. Lou Dobbs can avoid jail by hauling her weapon through the security screening at the airport immediately following Nahn Wun Wun, I imagine anyone with good witnesses can get out of this mess.
