NOW Set To Endorse Clinton;
The political arm of NOW, the National Organization for Women, will endorse Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid on Wednesday, according to Democratic officials familiar with the plan.

Clinton will join NOW president Kim Gandy to accept the endorsement, which will take place at Washington's Sewell-Belmont House, the historic home of the National Women's Party.

"The NOW PAC is excited to close out Women's History Month with news that's sure to energize women's rights supporters across the country," Gandy said in an e-mail statement.

2. Her record on NOW issues is exemplary, IMO.
The endorsement is a slam dunk.

3. This NOW member will not support Hillary
She's a craven whore for corporate interests and supports shipping good paying American jobs overseas. She's for undermining the Middle Class to support her corporate donors' greed.

And on major issues of the day, like the Iraq war, she has made terribly bad judgments.

I expected National NOW to endorse Hillary, but that doesn't mean that all NOW members have to support her.

8. How will this cause a surge?
Nice choice of words there, btw. Aren't women who are likely to support Hillary already supporting her without NOW telling them to?

15. LOL
Yep, it's astounding that a women's organization would support the only female candidate running for president. Downright shocking, in fact!

18.  NOW will provide its membership with a long list of reasons on why they support Hillary.
It might be a good idea to view Hillary through the lens of NOW. You may find a few things you like about her.:think:

19. Great. I'm sure HuffPoop will have something nasty to say about it.
If you think that Hillary doesn't deserve this, you are all about just not liking Hillary. It's that simple. Be honest already. Also, I've noticed for several decades now that women tend to listen to what candidates have to say, and vote based on more than one endorsement. It's getting to the point where so many men have messed up so many things with their internalized masculinity and power issues that maybe only women should be allowed to vote.

How about if we set a voluntary guideline: Every man (and women down South purportedly) who posts must state that they have never kicked, punched, sexually assaulted, or otherwise abused a girl or woman because they could get away with it before they start trashing Hillary, or any other politician who happens to be a woman or who takes women's rights seriously.

Go ahead and flame. I don't care at this point. With the child sexual abuse cases I've seen in the last few months - you know, like Dads raping their seven year old daughters, I've almost had more than I can stand.
