What is about the Bush administration that causes memory loss? |
|
Libby "can't remember", Sampson "can't remember" and now Gonzales "can't remember". We haven't had this much memory loss since Iran Contra and Watergate.

6. That tends to happen when you've done something bad. |

They'd get in trouble if they told the truth, or if they lie to Congress, so they say what a 5-year old would say: "I dunno." "I forgot." "I don't remember." "But Billy did it, too!"

7. They're all just following the the footsteps of their great leader, |
|
Adolf Bush.
Of course, in Bush's case, the lack of memory is real. Years of alcoholism and drug abuse have killed the few brain cells he was born with. There is virtually nothing left today, as we can all see.
The rest of his cronies are just trying to emulate him, since it seems to have worked so well for him over the years.

8. It flows to their base voters too. |

I think that is the result of Bush claiming, "You're either with us or against us". The Kool-Ade drinkers hear that and think that any criticism of Bush is unAmerican, so they simply recede into their little world of non-reality, cover their ears and sing, "la la la la la, I can't hear you."

9. It's not so much being in the Bush administration that causes it.... |
|
but being sworn in, testifying under oath, that seems to give them a severe case of the "I don't recalls". They don't mind lying, it is, after all, the benchmark of their political party. But for some reason when prison time becomes a very real possibility while testifying under oath......... they just can't focus on a coherent thought pattern. Go figure! :grr:
