Drudge Slime Could be Great News for Kerry Camp |
|
Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is likely an unauthorized leak. I am sure Rove would prefer for this to come out later in the year -- unless they are so terrified of Kerry they will stoop to anything to derail his nomination.
But, I suspect that Drudge is speaking out of turn. Chris Lehane (Clark press secy) has been sending around this type of speculation to a lot of reporters for a long time and no media agency could find enough confirmation for any of it to rise above the level of malicious rumor.
Now Drudge has jumped the gun, the Republicans may come to regret it.
Why? Because, this may be enough justification to Teresa to bring her money directly to bear.
She has said that a personal attack on the of her family would give here the right to set up her own fund to defend their honor.
If this rumor continues it may open the legal gates barring the Teresa Heinz fortune from this election fight.

But I still think this will more than likely be a tempest in a teapot and won't go further than the likes of Drudge.
But if it does ballon, you are right it just might open the floodgates of the Heinz fortune weilded by an angry Teresa Heinz!

2. Only if the story turns out to be a lie... |
|
Do you really think that the American voter will knowingly vote into office a man who has been found out to have cheated on his wife? hey did it once before and they were bombarded day and night for years about sex, sex, and sex. They supported Clinton during impeachment, but they grew weary of it.
I do not think they will allow that to happen again. I personally do not care about this type of subject which should be only between a coule, but the media and the repukes will never let this die down.
If it is not, then Kerry needs to sue the pants off of Drudge.

Kerry turns the tables on Drudge and sues his sorry butt for libel.

28. Dear God, SOMEBODY should. It'd be great, it'd be just desserts, |
|
and hopefully, it might just put Drudge out of business. If so, Theresa wouldn't have merely seen that justice was done. She'd have performed a magnificent public service. I wish SOMEBODY would put Drudge out of business. People who unapologetically put rumor and innuendo out as fact and as "news" deserve to be put out of business. They've done quite a bit to give the news business even a worse name than it has already. People like Drudge just make everything smell disreputable. Not that others in the news biz have been such towers of virtue and respectable journalism.

So, if this is such a big story, being investigated by the Washington Post, et al., where are the stories on the major news sites? If it's broken on Drudge, why not come out with whatever they have now?
Unless it's all BS, and the major news outlets know it, or they're playing the Bush game, trying to keep the story down until October?
And when the F&^* did the Washington Post start requiring registration to see more than the front page of their website?

11. They could be documenting their sources. |
|
Unlike Drudge, most newspapers, etc., prefer to have their sources down pat before they run with a story; just because they haven't printed it doesn't mean they WON'T.

If this is something that's old news and can't be proven, Drudge looks like a fool. Maybe the Dems did this on purpose to get it out there before the GOP?

So as long as she is "hot" everything will be forgiven. See, we men are pigs. Our main problem with the whole Lewinski thing is that Bill almost gave up his kingdom for a "chick" that wasn't hot. You could just hear the conversation:
Hey you hear Kerry had an affair with an intern?
Naw. Was she hot?
Yeah, she was a model an everything.
Lucky fucker. I wished it had been me. Well, good for him.
oink, oink
Yeah, oink, oink, beer, football and chicks, oink, oink

27. I saw Monica once, shopping with her mom in one of the neighborhood |

boutiques. This was back when the story was just starting to get big.
My first impression? I suspected immediately that the affair was true - because she looked like an inflatable doll.

14. Maybe Bill's popularity was his preference for a normal-looking girl. |
|
Maybe women liked that.
Especially since she looked so much like his mother.
In fact, Bill's record with women who looked like Mom was great: Secretary of State, Supreme Court Justice, Attorney General.
And they didn't even have to put out.
Love my Bill.

If JK's behind in the fall, Teresa's bucks can help him "ketchup."
One thing I do know, I want to bring down the BFEE as much as anyone and Kerry's the first guy who's been in a position to do so since Bobby Kennedy.

It was almost as if she expected some slime like this and has been preparing for it.

they DO want Kerry running and this could screw that up.
The little lady can't match them and would be foolish to try.
If its true, you come COMPLETELY clean and pray for forgiveness. But after Clinton I'm not so sure it's given.
