Even though its richly deserved, there is a danger of triggering sypathy for W by endlessly piling on and on.

3. Great idea because too much emphasis already put on exec. branch |

Already was before this administration began its power grab for an UNCONSTITUTIONAL "unitary executive."
Perhaps it will also instruct voters not just to vote because they "like the individual running" (i.e. for a congressional seat). Too many people don't realize that when push comes to shove, those in office more often than not vote with their party. Also, it will highlight the idealogical differences between the two major parties. Heck, maybe it will remind some Dems who seem to get confused at voting times and end up siding with the other party.
Just as public opinion about Dems was shaped by a concerted effort by our political opponents (albeit unfairly) in 1994), perhaps we can help reshape that in a positive way that can take hold for many years into the future.
In our two-party system, we aren't just a bunch of rugged individuals who depend solely upon personality differences; we're still expected to identify with our own party platform. Not in lockstep as we've witnessed w/this admin., but in some ways that make the choice between the 2 parties clear to the voters.
