Just called Waxman's Washington Office: Subpoena the servers. Dammit. |
|
"Subpoena the servers!", said I. "OK, I'll pass that on", said he. "You do know what I'm talking about..." "Yes, I do", said he.

That they do not have "investigative powers". When I asked who did, I was told the Oversight Committee. Who is chairman of the Oversight committee?
(Still he said he would pass along my concerns.)
Givin' it the 5th...(rec, that is).

6. Alright! Here's the deal... |
|
I called back Waxman's office to inquire if I had misunderstood something. He said that Waxman's office is seperate from the Oversight Committee office. He said that he could pass along my message, but it is best to call the Oversight Committee directly. That direct number is
(202) 225-5051
Please call that number to make a request. The staff member I spoke to there said they are looking at all possibilities right now. He was very nice.

4. subpoena the recipient lists |
|
Contact lists of the major players. Then you can tell which computers to focus on. The servers are a lost cause because they can be so tightly controlled. But a random RNC person's home laptop? Their Blackberrys'? That's where the gold is.
