No purchasing 30+ bullet clips by members of the public?
How is that for a sensible restriction on gun use? Who needs to be able to shoot off 30 bullets without reloading?

1. No, no, no
The solution is to give EVERYONE 33-round clips. What are you, some kind of French guy?

3. What if you're a hunter
and you get attacked by a herd of 30+ rabid deer? How will you defend yourself?

4. Don't try to get between a gun nut & his fetish idols.
Guns & bullets are sacred items of worship, not to be restricted, banned, limited, or regulated in any way.

6. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Fortunately, it seems our elected officials in DC don't see it your way.

I hope they continue doing so and finally put this "assault weapons ban"/"high-capacity" magazine ban nonsense to rest

7. The proper term is magazines
And your proposal is sorely lacking on detail.

For starters, what would you do about all the large magazines out there now?

The expired federal assault weapons ban did nothing about them, they were fully grandfathered. It only banned imports and required newly manufactured ones to be labelled "Government/Law Enforcement Use Only". With the ban expired, even those can now be freely transferred among civilians.

If you present an actual plan, I might comment. With so little information, I can't.
