I predict the Repos will move post haste to remove Gonzales. |
|
They can't take much more of this, and the stench of political corruption is becoming mobile both up and down the DOJ, into the White House, as well as spreading onto certain members of congress.
Gonzales is gone.

1. Agree. They'll dump him. He's past history versus their re-election odds, |
|
and is already Albatross Gonzales.

15. His children are growing up of course and one of these days they'll |
|
be in a high school government class and their father's name will come up, and not in a very positive light, I imagine.
Alberto Gonzales' transgressions against the Constitution are paramount but he's betrayed his own kids, too, seems to me.
All for the smirking approval of a fake cowboy.

9. I wish I could agree with you, but I can't. |

With any normal administration, what you say would likely be true. Of course, if this were any normal admin, this situation would not arise.
There has nover been such a stupid, inept and pig headded outfit in any memory that I can access, even in the history books. They cannot accept that anything, anything at all, they have done could be in any way less than a stroke of god-blessed genius. Their arrogance is only exceeded by their incompetence and total lack of understanding of the precepts surrounding a democratic republic.

Amazing how often we, or at least, I, make the disproven assumption that the goal is good government.
