We are blessed, having a president like George W. Bush.
After seeing how much of the constitution he's torn up and his near total takeover of the Justice department, we are blessed that he is such a stupid, incompetant man.

Because of his idiocy, the plan to overthrow the government is finally being exposed and will, in time, be discarded and the true American government system will be restored. It's basically a failed coup.

If this president had been a strong capable leader, with all the control he now has given himself over all areas of government, I believe we would never be able to drive him and his minions out of power.

5. I think it is a failed coup
Who but the most savvy political folk knew who Karl Rove was even four years ago?

Now, their whole internal operation has been exposed.

4. I agree
We'll look back at this madness as the first lucky break we've had in many years. Bush is
such an arrogant jerk, his purpose is obvious. This is a plan of many years' duration that
is falling apart.

Now we can spin the clock back to pre-Reagan years (maybe even to JFK/RFK).

... and then the shock of election 2004 set in.

I fear you overestimate the public's distaste for BS.
