I'll tell you what I've seen here in New Hampshire.
Clinton's crowd is heavily composed of "party regulars", i.e., legislators, other electeds, state committee members, and people whose livelihood depends on the generosity of political officials.
Obama's crowds are, frankly, a better cross section of the community, and the enthusiasm seems deeper.
