CNN called Senators Obama and Clinton's comments on * "vicious."
Edited on Sun Apr-29-07 02:21 AM by mahina
http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/
front page of cnn.com

"Presidential contenders Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton came out fighting Saturday as they tried to woo California. The state, long a major cash source, is poised to become more influential in the electoral process, having moved its primary to February 5. Both Clinton and Obama were received warmly by the activist crowd as they launched vicious attacks on President Bush and his record."

This time I'm sending my comment under 'error' rather than comments. http://www.cnn.com/feedback/dotcom/

When will these remora figure out they are on the wrong side? I wish they weren't on any side at all.

2. Exactly!

They have yet to respond to any of my comments about the editorializing they do in covering the 'news'.

I've started collecting the best of's that take the place of the news on their site. Some lowlights: Don Imus lost his hat, and a missing person was found in an alligator. Still, the 'vicious' comment merits a note. Unfortunately you have the give your name, town and email, but I suppose you could make something up. Works for them all the time...

4. I suggested "truthful" "honest" "unvarnished" "plain spoken."
I said that editorial distortion in defense of this administration is appalling.

3. Subtle message for those not paying attention
like many who watch CNN.

Little tidbits that ultimately play a role in the mindset of voters.

Thanks for catching that.

5. Didn't even try to hide the bias
"...received warmly by the activist crowd..."
"...launched vicious attacks..."
“Clinton unleashed an unusually personal critique of Bush…”
“…the left-leaning, activist crowd…”
“Clinton…met with only sporadic heckling during her speech.”

Should note that this is from AP. It may be unfair to blame CNN.

7. The word 'vigorous' would have been a better, non-judgemental word choice
I must admit to being constantly amazed by the 'liberal bias' shown by the MSM. :sarcasm:

8. CNN=Craven News Network

Trying to out fox fox. Pathetic. The right wing zealots who watch foxnews will always despise CNN, because they realize that CNN management are nothing more than a bunch of insincere, pathetic toadies trying to improve ratings by pandering to the far right. Ratings "Hos": thats all they are.

Ted Turner should be kicked in the arse for selling CNN. Its totally gone to the....
I started to say gone to the dogs, but I am a dog lover, and dogs deserve better than to be compared to the pusillanimous scumbags at CNN.

does anybody have any idea what Carol Lin's politics are? She seems awfully intelligent and animated for a cnn weekend anchor...
