Please note I am posting only the polls that are roughly less than a month old and dealing with our top 3 Democrats; Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards. Clinton 45 - Giuliani 45 Clinton 48 - McCain 44 *Please note the Thompson numbers for Clinton were 1 1/2 months old, Romney numbers were 2 months old so they were not included. (Poll taken May 4th, http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008_clinton_ties_giuliani_45_to_45) Edwards 49 - Giuliani 43 Edwards 50 - Thompson 36 *Please note the McCain numbers for Edwards were 2 months old, Romney numbers were 3 months old so they were not included. 6. Forget Thompson, Rudy is the Reps Only Hope |

While Thompson may be the "golden boy" of their base "religious right", Rudy is the only one who can get moderate, crossover votes. Their right wing may THINK that the overwhelming issues are abortion and gays, but I certainly doubt that. They totally overestimate how many Republicans are "right" on those issues. I have a Republican husband who has many Republican friends, so I know the other side.
But, hey. Go, ahead. Push Thompson. Better for US. lol
