On The Issues, Round 1: Health Care

Now that the three major candidates have their "Issues" page on, I think it would be a good idea to actually discuss what they are proposing. It's one thing to attack a candidate you don't like just because you don't like him/her, but another thing is actually to take a look at what they have to say about the issues and make a contrast that leads to a fair conclusion about the candidate's position.

So, the first issue we can look at is health care:

Who's on the right track on health care based on their "Issues" page and why? Are their proposals similar? Quite different?

1. Not a single one of them offers single payer

Edwards provides the most details, but it still sounds like Hillarycare, a plan to protect the insurance companies instead of the American people.

Both H. Clinton and Obama talk about insuring all CHILDREN, the population group that is the cheapest to insure and just more incremental bullshit.

Expand Medicare NOW, like it was supposed to have been done 40 years ago. Nothing else will work.
