Marist Poll: Hillary 35%, Obama 17%, Edwards 15% |
|
I don't know who the heck this pollster is, but, dear Hillarites, accept this as a Mother's Day gift from your friend and rabid Obamaniac Katzenkavalier. :hi: http://www.angus-reid.com/polls/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewItem&itemID=15717

3. Old data...for what it's worth... |

This one's been reported here and elsewhere. Post-debate bounce for Hill. I suspect things have tightened back up since.

Along with the Jesuits, the Marists have a long tradition of scholarship. What are you implying?

14. it sounded like you were debunking the poll results |
|
because of who produced them. maybe that wasn't what you were implying. i've been taking lots of anti-catholic abuse on here and may be getting paranoid!

35% +17% ______ 52% And we have a Democratic President! A Democratic President is way better than a republican president any day.

9. You are 'assuming' the other 17% would go for Hillary... |
|
and that is NOT something you can assume when 50% of voters say they would NEVER vote for Hillary. Add those numbers up with a different candidate who DOESN'T have the same high negatives as Hillary and you might be right....We'd have a Democratic President.

11. History shows we don't need 50% |
|
47% has worked in the past. Having the Supreme Court on your side doesn't hurt either. I feel confident we will have a Democratic President when 2009 rolls around. I also think it will be Clinton as President and Obama as Vice President. If we do this correctly, Democrats will control the Executive Branch for at least then next 16 years and the republican party as we know it will cease to exist.

10. Another poll that includes Al Gore as a choice... |
|
I could've sworn that I saw another poll including Gore that had Hillary farther ahead than in other polls without Gore. Correct me if I'm wrong. It seems terribly inaccurate to include Gore in such a poll when there are so many who would likely not claim Gore as their first choice simply because they don't expect him to run. If he actually were running I think it's safe to assume the outcome of this poll would be far different.

12. Hillary generally does better when Gore is not included among the options. |
