POLL: Obama fares best against likely repuke nominees in key state of OHIO
General election matchups in the poll include:

•Giuliani edges Obama, 43-42 percent.

•Giuliani tops Clinton, 47-43 percent.

•Obama defeats McCain, 44-41 percent.

•McCain edges Clinton, 45-44 percent.

1. Another day, another poll showing Hillary underperforming in the general election

(compared to Edwards and Obama) and leading the Dem primary. I know she does well is some general election polls but the trend is scary.

2. Hillary is a good person
and probably would make a fine president but she is obviously a weak candidate on a national level. She should be clobbering Giuliani and McCain in Ohio. The problem is that she has the finances and is the darling of the Democratic establishment and will likely end up with the nomination. Although I will continue to send Edwards and Obama money it is all a little depressing.

4. That's not best, it's merely better than Hillary
They don't even include numbers with Edwards vs. Guiliani or McCain. Other polls that do include Edwards indicate he fares best in head-to-head matchups in Ohio.

Giuliani, 54-26 percent favorable.

•Clinton, 46-45 percent favorable.

•McCain, 45-28 percent favorable.

•Edwards, 44-29 percent favorable.

•Obama, 42-22 percent favorable
