I am sick and tired of being nice to these people who screw us at every turn. |
|
Here is part of a copy of a letter I just sent to one of my Senators. Polite just doesn't seem to be working anymore.
"I do not believe for one minute that you think our soldiers are justifiably in Iraq. I believe that if your family was there you would clamor for the return of our soldiers. It is very easy to be courageous when you are using other people to do the courageous work for you. And you know that this war is not winnable and that it is illegal and immoral. I am disgusted with all of you. Shame.
Here is the comments of Senator Boxer today. The fact that the Democrats cannot achieve the will of the people and bring our soldiers home safely because too many Republican sheep stop them is abhorrent."

3. Someone should make up a |
|
Greeting Card with a picture of an injured Iraq War Veteran (ONLY if the soldier gives consent) on the front and have votes have consequences inside the card. Then send them to senators who voted yes.

4. I'm not going to blame them. I don't think the benchmarks were |

ever going to work. Bush would have ignored any of them that got in his way, but the one he did favor would have required the Iraqis to privatize their oil -- another boon to Halliburton.
On the other hand, 34 states now are going to have up to a 40% increase in their minimum wage.

He vetoed the funding bill. Don't send him another. Period.
DON'T turn around and give him everything and more simply because he's a stubborn SOB and the Repukes might call you bad names. They're goin to do that anyway. They're Repukes.
I have a looong memory and a short supply of forgiveness. I'm picky about who I dole it out to - Murray & Cantwell aren't even on my list.
