Among the many reasons DUers have for feeling down these days,
at least we're NOT suffering from a lack of promising Presidential candidates.

If anything, we have too many solid candidates -- it makes it that much harder to choose.

So I wish we could hold back on some of the negativity, because eventually, we're going to want to rally around whatever FINE candidate the majority chooses.

Here's to ALL the Democratic contenders!

1. Good point, and a good reminder. WE have the bench strength.

They don't. What have they got? A flip-flopper, a has-been, a 9/11 phony/personal-life trainwreck, several overcompensators with testosterone issues, and a handful of chapter presidents from the Flat Earth Society. Oh yeah, and newt gingrich warming up in the bullpen.

Fucking FABULOUS. And I forgot my spooo-oooo-ooooon...

3. Yeah, but with Fred THompson, the Republicans have
their 11th middle aged white guy joining their primary race. Now THAT'S exciting! :puke:

5. Actually, I was mentally counting him in.
Just can't help myself. I think he is playing it smart staying out now because he is getting so much GREAT free coverage. Why waste all that by becoming a declared candidate?

6. And, it's possible that he is waiting until
he finishes promoting his book to make a decision.
