What some in the media business are saying about Wolf v Moore...
Media bistro, a blog for and by media insiders, ran a few blurbs about the confrontation...

This is one I particularly enjoyed...

> Update: 12:32pm: "Actually it was amazing how well Wolf navigated through a nearly impossible interview circumstance in which nearly every other cable news personality would have reacted by ending the interview, cutting off Moore's mic, or resorting to personal attacks," another e-mailer says. "Blitzer managed to weave through a combative Moore, responding to his attacks while defending the network and Gupta, eventually calming him down enough to continue a taped interview for another ratings bonanza later today. Bravo Wolf!"

Looking back, Wolfe did show a lot of restraint and was able to let MM get his frustrations out and still conducted a pretty good interview...

I totally feel MM frustration and hope that this signals a break in the lock that center-right opinion has had on CNN since 9/11...

2. Except the wording sounds like a PR campaign paid for by CNN
Notice how similar the emails sound.

CNN IS partially to blame for the reasons there is no real discussion on real issues that effect real peoples' lives. We should be talking more about national health care, about how other industrialized nations do it well and what they do badly, etc. We should be talking about all the things corporations that own the media won't allow us to talk about because it would lose them money.

Instead we get ParLinditanney.

3. Considering the source, it is a pro media blog after all, I think it is
a good report of what happened...

Wolfe did restrain himself...

I can't think of another news personality that would have let MM speak basically unchallenged for six minutes...
