Kucinich rips Edwards on debate remarks
NEW YORK - An angry Dennis Kucinich lashed out at John Edwards on Friday, saying his Democratic rival showed "a consistent lack of integrity" by suggesting fewer candidates should participate in presidential forums and then trying to explain his remark to reporters.

"This is a serious matter and I'm calling him on it," Kucinich, an Ohio congressman, said in a telephone interview Friday. "Whispering, trying to rig an election, then denying what's going on and making excuses. It all reflects a consistent lack of integrity."

Kucinich's comments came after Edwards and Hillary Rodham Clinton were overheard Thursday discussing the possibility of limiting the number of participants in future presidential forums.

2. Kucinich should be Edwards Vice president.
I don't think Geography should figure in but he is from Ohio.

3. Interesting
he seemed very reasonable as he said the same things on Hardball. Video in the political video forum. Is this just someone putting a feeling to someone else's words?

I am not saying that Dennis Kucinich is beyond lashing out but it seems odd after his interview that he would go from reasonable but angry to lashing out in anger.

4. Headline choices
The headlines for this story at various sites:

Kucinich rips Edwards on debate remarks
Kucinich lashes out at limiting debates
Kucinich Blasts Edwards Over Debate Rules
Kucinich Slams Dem. Rival Edwards On 'Integrity'

Interesting verb choices: rips, lashes out, blasts, slams.

5. Hmmmm
I guess I should have known that but it is going to take this old brain a bit longer to adjust to this new country.

Thanks. I still assume the best rather than the worst. I really hate to change that.

10. Why do the headlines only mention Edwards?
Wasn't Hillary involved in this as well?

With that said. Kucinich is getting his 15 minutes with this. I don't recall hearing his name, or any other name specifically mentioned when I saw the video of the conversation between Hillary and Edwards. Why is this now a Kucinich moment?

6. Kucinich's lack of integrity: lying about what Edwards said for 15 minutes of press coverage
This is the same guy who attacked the top 3 for backing out of the Faux Noise debate so he could get some publicity. I like him--he says a lot of things that need to be said--but he acts like an attention whore at times...

11. I thought the article suggested that Kucinich overheard them whispering
This moment:

In an exchange captured on camera and open microphone by broadcasters after an NAACP forum in Detroit, Edwards approached Clinton onstage and whispered in her ear.

12. Unless the tape has been cleaned up and a few more words isolated, NO ONE knows.

This is a FAUX attack and DK is just as guilty as they are.
