100+ people show up for an Obama grassroots meeting in Madison
Edited on Tue Jul-17-07 11:18 PM by zulchzulu

I just got back from a meeting here in Madison, WI where an overwhelming number of people showed up for an Obama strategy meeting. There were 100+ people who showed up to listen to people from the campaign and sign up for future events.

There were people of all ages and races there. It was certainly inspirational to see such support. People want to get mobilized and get involved.

2. Stop by for the next meeting
You can have your blogs and netroots suff, but when people decide to come and show up in person in such large numbers, it's just wonderful to see.

4. Thanks for your report. Obama's appeal crosses the spectrum of age and party affiliation.
Obama is the one who can unite our country and move it forward--if we make him our nominee.

Thanks for all your work, zulchzulu. I look forward to your reports.

6. I got an email that 300 expected to show up in Milwaukee tonight
These are grassroots supporters that want to volunteer and work the streets, phones and other political campaign work...not just supporters.

:hi:
