"For the second straight week, New York Senator Hillary Clinton remains the clear frontrunner in polls for the Democratic Presidential nomination with support from 38% of Likely Democratic Primary Voters. Her support has stayed within the 37% to 39% range for six straight weeks. Illinois Senator Barack Obama slips "

4. Actually, not a lot of mud has been thrown in this campaign so far....
hillary is on top among Dems so far, and a lot of this has to do with name recognition, and Hillary's ties to the establishment

I imagine by the end of the year, things will be a bit more exciting.

I think we all, if honest, will admit that there is no single clear front runner, and we don't even know if Gore or Clark will enter either.

If guys got excited as early as Hillary backers they would be called "premature"

3. There is a tremendous yearning for responsible leadership in our nation.
Americans realize that Hillary will be a rock solid administrator.

5. Rass' trend is HRC up, Obama down
Obama once consistently was in the 30's in Rass's polls (including taking the lead at one point), including a peak of 33%. Since then he has ranged between 25-27%. HRC has risen at BO's expense during this period from 30% to 37%-38% during the past month.
