This Ann woman on MSNBC has some problem with Kucinich
Edited on Tue Jul-24-07 01:31 PM by Sparkly
What a SNARKY "interview" -- one attack after another.

Edit: What about Al Qaeda in Iraq SIR? I didn't ask you how we got in there, SIR. Your numbers in the primary are terrible, SIR. Are you really running to be president SIR? The people heard your message in the debates and still your numbers are low SIR...

Seemed like one of those people who thinks being obnoxious = being smart. :eyes:

1. That's because I'd argue he's the only candidate that truly matches
the positions of my friends and me, of course. So, the Media has to give him trouble.

It's not like I think that's my kharma or anything.

3. I think when he wouldn't go along with the "Al Qaeda in Iraq" thing
she got irked. "What about our moral responsibility?" He almost laughed at that one -- and she knew it.

15. I agree with you; and, I did some research.
"Al Qaeda" was originally a MOVEMENT, not really a firm organization, in Afghanistan. I don't believe it ever has become this huge, tightly-fun organization. I think that it has become a "cue" word that our government uses to cause their base to experience instant, paralyzing fear, inducing a desire to go along with anything without question. Moreover, NOW, every "freedom fighter," or "terrorist" or whatever, wants to claim being a part of "Al Qaeda," in order to achieve some "street cred." Most ironically, "Al Qaeda" referred to "The Base," of whom certain "leaders" could count on due to THEIR propaganda. The more life changes ... the more it stays the same; it's always the same game.

17. I completely agree!!
The "organization" is a LOOSE one at best, from all I've heard and read. And, there are many other, smaller, loosely-networked organizations as well. Al Qaeda is not the one and only such group, but as you say, it's like shorthand now.

7. It's funny that the media has the same contempt for Ron Paul.
Did you see RP's interview with G. Stephanopulous? GS was completely open in his dismissiveness and contempt.

9. Ann Curry
She's mostly from NBC .... must be doing some vacation fill-in on the 'little' network, MSNBC.

I think it was more about her being pissed to have to do a stint on the little network than anything else.

12. Curry is WAY out of her league of NewsReader.
Today she was inquisitor and she came off as caustic.

Dennis still rocks! :yourock:

13. Dennis always handles the media well
This is the same media that sold us the war in Iraq, and is still selling Iran.

It's funny because Limbaugh/savage types are always complaining about the liberal media having all the control and then they bring up the fairness doctrine and complain they will be kicked off the air if it passes. Well if they are in the minority, why wouldn't they embrace the fairness doctrine?

16. Rough interviews? Part of the game.
Dennis will always get the sneers and the cynicism from the press. Its all about his program. It isn't politics as usual. He's talking about something bigger than the horse racing, and to many in the press that is considered "wishful thinking" or "boring".

Dennis just need to keep digging, and the rest of us who supporting need to keep digging too
