"As I understood Obama's statement, he's either going to invite to Washington or meet somewhere else the head of Cuba, who would be Castro, and the head of Iran, who is Ahmadinejad. That's quite a crew. I don't know that I would want to meet with them. Some people you just don’t meet with if they're going to use that to propagate their own propaganda. I thought Hillary Clinton was on the right side of that."
-- Rudy Giuliani, quoted by New York magazine, on the "mini-feud" between the Obama and Clinton campaigns.
Looks like Rudy is still promoting Bush's way of meeting with our enemies. No thanks Mayor Dumbshit. I'll go with Obama on this one.

But I like how Obama supporters enjoy the lie.

Do you hate Hillary so much that you consider this an accurate portrayal of what Obama said
"As I understood Obama's statement, he's either going to invite to Washington or meet somewhere else the head of Cuba, who would be Castro, and the head of Iran, who is Ahmadinejad. That's quite a crew."
That's not even remotely what Obama said. That isn't even what Hillary characterized it as.
Hey there's a Vince Foster thread you may want to jump in on, if that's what gets your jollies.

7. I Don't See Any Difference |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-31-07 01:13 PM by MannyGoldstein
Here's the actual statement that Obama said yes to: "would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?"
How is that different from what Giuliani said? Please be specific, because I'm not seeing any functional difference at all.

10. You have no problem with Giuliani's chacracterization? |
|
You are unable to pick up on the very different tone?
If not, I am sorry then I cannot help you.

8. Yes, Rudy would love to face Hillary in a general election |
|
He'd beat her handily but would lose to Obama and he knows it.
I see right through Rudy's garbage
