Is Obama this elections Dean?
My personal prediction is that he is. He is currently enjoying something of a media honeymoon, but as soon as the primary draws near, the gloves will come off and Obama will be crushed under a wave of ultra critical reporting. The mainstream Democrats will rally to Hillary, and she will win the nod handily. Obama might see new life as her running mate, but that's the best he can hope for in this race.

1. I have been really surprised with Obama supporters today

Even they know he made a HUGE mistake. First, they tried to say that Hillary supports "invading Pakistan", which was easily debunked in another thread, using comments she gave over a week ago. Then they tried to justify what Obama said, but soon realized that this didn't synch with everything they have been saying about Obama for the past few months. Now they just ignore any thread with "Obama" and "Pakistan" in the same sentence.

3. I'm not an Obama supporter, and I cannot believe what's being said about his comments.
Some real reading disorders going on coupled with the notion the defending ourselves is a sin.

The Dems, as usual, will be doomed in 2008. We'll have the House and Senate, and we'll busy ourselves obstructing whoever the new Republican President might be.

2. The GOP is dancing in glee at the prospect of Hillary being the Dem nominee.
It's their only hope.

Well, Kucinich, Biden, and Mr. Rock in the Pond would be obliterated by any Republican, but they will emerge from the primaries without a single delegate.
