Biden is hitting the TV shows, 4 in 2 days ! |
|
I think he feels the iron is hot and it's time to strike. Good for him. He doesn't have the money that Hillary or Obama have, but he has more brains.

1. He has the brains, the experience and the b*lls that the others don't. |
|
Joe is not afraid to say what he believes and tell anybody! He's the only one with real common sense, which I think is more important than anything! I've been a Biden supporter for quite a while and I'm really glad he's getting the exposure he deserves!
Nothing to do with Biden, but I'm really sick of the MONEY being the most important thing!
However, I have to say, I'm the politico in our house, and I asked my hubby yesterday, "You do know who Joe Biden is, don't you?" He said NO! I try not to talk politics much because he's really NOT interested, but I could have cried at that response!

4. He may not have heard him yet |
|
My brother is pretty uninterested, or rather cynical about politics. He heard Biden explain something on TV and he was really impressed. He said he finally understood the issue (can't remember what it was) and that Biden spoke directly without the usual political nuance. He wants to support him now. Frankly I am shocked - he has never shown such interest for anyone before (he is in his 50's)
Saw Biden on Letterman and was a bit disappointed that it centered on his personal life. His strongest point is talking directly to the voters about the issues. Maybe he can go back on later and talk about the issues.

6. Have your husband call John Bolton's publicist. I bet they've |
|
Edited on Thu Aug-02-07 12:50 AM by Old Crusoe
heard of Joe Biden over at that office.
Biden drew the line on John Bolton and called him for what he was -- a former Jesse Helms right-wing kook who had no business whatsoever in the post for which he was appointed.
We owe Mr. Biden a huge debt on that one. He took Bolton out at the knees and Bolton could only hobble around on Bush's interim appointment.
And that didn't last.

10. Good response but He wouldn't know who Bolton was either! |
|
You don't understand. He really detests Shrub and Cheney, knows who Gonzo is and thinks he should be tossed out too, but beyond that, he simply doesn't pay attention. He depends on Me to do all that! When we go to vote, on the way out the door he always asks "Who are we supposed to vote for today?" I a way that's a good thing because I would go NUTS if I had to constantly try to change his mind, but it also gets agrivating becaue I would love to have him pay enough attention to really support someone.

13. napi21, I bet there's folks like that in all families. Maybe this will work: |
|
Go down to your local Democratic headquarters and ask your husband to come too. There's always a stack of envelopes that need stuffing and he's likely to meet some good people in that environment, to say the least.
It might help for him to see a group of people working together as volunteers for something they believe in.
Just a thought. But it might pay some dividends.

3. These seem to be more of a book tour |
|
Works for me, he needs to get out there. All we hear about is Hillary, Obama and Edwards and occasionally they throw in Richardson. I'm leaning towards Biden but like hearing what they all have to say.
I think it is interesting all this hoopla about either what "Hillary said" or "Obama said". Then all the Democratic candidates get in the discussion on Pakistan. Where are all those loud mouth repubs? Do they have an opinion? Does the media ask them for opinions on these talking points? And why not?

5. I have yet to read Biden's new book but plan to. |
|
To start with, Biden HAS a book. Dubya can't even READ.
Biden also has a workable plan for Iraq. Dubya . . . but you know the rest of that sentence.
