3. You can rely on him speaking of issues in depth |
|
Never seems to be pat statements. Seems sincere. Hope he doesn't dissappoint. Soo sad he is way back in the poles.

5. What did you think of his explaination of why he voted |
|
for the Iraqi War Resolution? He explained that he took it as a way to force inspectors back into Iraq, to keep sanctions in place. He had no idea that the Administration was so incompetent! That was a very good program. I'm inspired!

maybe on his site from the speeches section?
that he was going to vote no. But because he is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he was in a private meeting with Bsh and Cheney. Biden said to them that the only way he would vote for the IWR if they promised that war was the absolute last resort, after all other options were exhausted. Bsh looked him in the eye and said yes.
------------ Talking about inspired, did you see the video that LikeItIs posted? Wow!

8. Yup, and he doesn't come off trying to look anything but |
|
what he is, an older, seasoned man. Been there and done that and not afraid to take on issues he feels is important and big enough to say, hey, I read 'em wrong. For a politician he seems quite sincere.
Since my fav candidate in 04 was Dr. Dean and was totally disappointed my confidence in my choices has been shaken. Clark is another that seemed so promising and then fell flat. Oh well, can't help it when someone trips my trigger!
