Poll question: It's been over two years since the passing of legislation for national ID cards...
...and there are those who believe a government mandated RFID bio-chip implant for all U.S. citizens
can't be too far behind. Do you agree that this is likely only a question of time?

And secondly, would you submit to "being chipped" if it would effectively cost you your U.S. citizenship to refuse?

1. The ONLY way the government is going to put a "F"ing RFID chip in me..........
will be when my body is cold, stiff and DEAD! Just say NO to Police States.

2. Reminds me of a memorable line from Clint Eastwood...
...in Hang'em High. Bruce Dern's character, Miller, was being taken in to face justice by Eastwood (Jed Cooper) and had the bad judgment to taunt Cooper with: "You ain't never gonna get me back to town alive, boy," to which Cooper replies "Then I'll get you there dead... boy."

I think this is going to be our beloved government's attitude toward those who choose not to cooperate with citizen tracking and surveillance measures.

3. To quote the 'Wise'-ass sage in the WH.........
"Bring 'em on".

This whole thing with RFID chips reminds me of a mind control Science Fiction movie.

4. Yes, it does. I can envision a day in the not so distant future where...
... prisoners can get time off their sentence if they agree to submit to mind control experimentation via an implant device. Imagine the military application when they figure how to remove all fear, inhibition, and morality from our soldiers -- Pentagon's wet dream.

7. I think sometime in mid '08 was the plan for making...
...states comply, but I don't know if that's been moved back or not.

15. If not submitting meant not being able to perform basic...
...transactions, have a bank account, have a passport, ride public transportation, travel across state lines etc, it would be hard to say no. If most everyone else was complying how would one refuse and survive?

But for a lot of reasons, I 99% doubt that it will ever get to a point where you would either have to be bio-chipped or else face the situations you describe. I understand the fear, though, and that's why it's important to stand up to this kind of creeping fascism now. We do not want to go down this road. And as I think about it, I once worked at a place in WI where they wanted to iris scan everyone. Freaked, I flat out refused. What do you know, they backed off (but were p.o.'d).
