Seriously. He could nuke Iran. At will.
Why does that bother people in only in an academic sense, not in a torches-and-pitchforks way?

4. It Was Unbelievable To Me - Until Today |
|
Suddenly it struck me - he's done the unthinkable before - torture, warrantless wiretapping, ... So why wouldn't I believe that he might launch a nuclear attack on Iran? It scared the crap out of me.

13. Not only the things that you list, but he seriously Diss's anyone that dares... |
|
to confront him... This guy is seriously demented, and is in the understanding that no one is going to tell me what to do mentality...... So the question has to be, who is going to stop him? Not anyone that I can currently see.

3. I guess an appropriate answer to your question is... If Bush were to Nuke Iran... |
|
then Bush had better be prepared to be nuked! Once again I will say this... Neither Russia nor China and many other countries in this world are going to passively stand by while Bush Nukes Iran.... If that were to happen, we are faced with full annihilation IMHO... In other words, "Kiss your ass good bye"

that is the only way a "nuclear holocaust will occur in Iran.
And yes, it bothers me quite a bit, but since I am a "dirty fucking hippy" none of the "serious" people pays attention.

6. Torches and pitchforks don't work when they turn the military on you. |
|
They may be trying to provoke not Iran but the American people. If they could anger the people and lie to the people until we rioted and they could declare martial law. Scary things these that I think.

are their enough troops, on our own soil, to round all us up if martial law were declared?

15. I'm happy you asked that question actually.... Cause you see, it's not just... |
|
the US troops that you need to be concerned about, but also the mercenaries like "Blackwater" for hire that better concern you.... If martial law were to be instigated, Bush would most likely send out a call to his good buddy, the owner of Blackwater... Very scary indeed.

"Rush Could Attack Iran"
Limbaugh with bombs???
Though I don't know that we're any safer wth * having the "football."
People are scared and feel helpless. If they can pen demonstrators in "free speech" cages wherever he speaks, I'm not sure there's anything the people can do, not even with torches and pitchforks. They've got bigger weapons.
Congress must prevent it. Pressure the Democrats and any halway-decent Republicans. My senators and rep are all repukes; thank you, Diebold.

I read that military/government officials changed the nuclear codes (unbeknown to Nixon) during the waning months of the Nixon Administration; I just hope someone has the wisdom to do that today. Don't know if there's any similar safeguard with bunker busters, though. Can you imagine the look on *'s face if he pressed the button and nothing happened? He'd implode.

After listening to the upsurge in rhetoric lately, I seriously believe that shrub will strike Iran. I don't know if he will use nukes, but I believe he is headed toward a strike. This, I believe, is totally foolish and may be suicidal.

16. Congress needs to revisit those AUMFs from Sept '01 and Oct '02 |
|
giving * the "as he determines" powers. Even though the War Powers Resolution (embedded in those authorizations for use of military force) requires "clear" , meaning truthful, "situations" and "circumstances", * could still trump up some kind of phoney pretext for war and wait for the lie to come out later...sound familiar ?

17. Bushco are increasing the heat to attack Iran -- How are they doing it? How can we stop them?????? |
|
How much help are they getting from right-wing media again????
If we couldn't stop the attack on Iraq -- !!!
If we can't get them to pull out of Iraq -- !!!!
Then, how are we going to stop an attack on Iraqn - ????
You know, it's a slide . . . . the more you let things go on the easier it is for them to happen.
And, this is a great deal the Democratic Congress' fault -- they should have morality on their side.
Where in the hell are they speaking out against this??????

sabre rattling idiot in the White House before he starts World War III. Second, Iran probably has the capability to sink every vessel in the area. We are ill prepared to lose a fairly large percentage of the Navy. If you haven't noticed as yet, the guy who thought going into Iraq would be a cakewalk hasn't been right about one fucking thing he said in regards to the whole Iraq episode. Not one. And now he's greasing the skids to replay the same disasterous scenario on Iran.
What do we, the Citizens of this country have to do to get you fuckers attention and shut this maniac down! Quit paying taxes? Quit going to work? Stop paying bills? Show up one day in Washington by the millions? Are you guys even listening? This guy is round the bend and you lot can't seem to get up the balls to pull the rug out from under this nutcase. World War III will not be very fucking pleasant for 99.9% of living things as most of us don't have a damn bunker we will be whisked away to.
