Barney Frank does not think Craig should resign.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20070829/craig-arrest/

Democratic Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts, an openly homosexual member of the House, said Craig was a hypocrite on gay rights issues but he didn't think the Republican senator should resign.

"This is the hypocrisy _ it's to deny legal equality to gay people, but then to engage in gay behavior," Frank said.

1. I don't either.
I want him to hang around long enough for the tag "the Republican who got caught surfing for sex in bathrooms" to appear in the media a couple thousand times.

Not like it will, given the media, but still...

3. Larry Craig is becoming one of the best..........
weapons the Democrats will have in 2008!!!

If he sticks around, Democrats will be loving it!!!

I see Barney's point.

4. I don't this his sexuality has anything to do with it.

5. Senator Craig must be thrilled
to have Barney Frank come to his defense. Irony is wasted on Republicons.

7. Wonder how many times Barney Frank saw Craig give him some
hand signals ... and kept his mouth shut ... along with using amazing willpower, keeping his lunch in its place ...

10. I can't believe people here don't get WHY Frank
is saying this. It's basic: If Craig stays in until his term expires, even if he doesn't run next year, it boosts LaRocca's chances in Idaho.
So yes, it would be a good thing politically for the dem. Politics 101.
