Newsmax, in its Sunday, Sept 2nd e-mail to conservatives, puts the spotlight on the book "Dead Certain", a tome by Robert Draper about you know who. In the book, Newsmax points to a quote from him in which he claims he cries a lot. In fact he says,“I’ll bet I’ve shed more tears than you can count as president.”

Looking to the day he leaves the White House, President Bush says he'll concentrate on making speeches and running an institute that promotes democracy around the world. He also admitted that he cries "a lot" on God's shoulder.

So, what will Crawford Texas' favorite son do when he is out of a job? “We’ll have a nice place in Dallas,” where he will be running what he called “a fantastic Freedom Institute” designed to promote democracy around the world. Does that mean he is abandoning Crawford?

Bush also claims that at the White House, he likes to keep things, as he puts it, "light hearted." Apparently this does not jibe with early reports of tension, fear, anger, shouting and God know what else that we have seen within the last two or three years. But by golly, he is not letting it get him down. Newsmax, apparently still quoting the New York Times, had this quote from Shrub...... “Self-pity is the worst thing that can happen to a presidency. This is a job where you can have a lot of self-pity.”

"Dead Certain" comes out Tuesday. Does anyone care?
