Something for Edwards Supporters - Edwards on Terrorism today.
I may be an Obama supporter but, I do like Edwards. he has some good ideas and I respect his hard work and his fighting for the middle class and poor. I believe he really has this passion for helping the poor that so many in the media discount and try to make people think it's a gimmick. that is so wrong.
He also has some interesting proposals. Here is an article on his speech today.
enjoy.

Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards said he would create an international organization to fight terrorism through shared intelligence, cooperation he says would combat the dangers facing the United States where President Bush has failed.

The 2004 vice presidential candidate also said he would be prepared to invade Pakistan to eradicate terror cells if necessary, even after rival Barack Obama was widely criticized last month for making a similar pledge.

"We need a counterterrorism policy that will actually counter terrorism," Edwards told an audience at Pace University. "We've got to throw away the failed George Bush policies of the past, and move in a bold new direction."

Edwards delivered his speech four days before the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, just blocks from ground zero. It was part of a two-day campaign swing through New York, the home turf of rival Hillary Rodham Clinton. On Thursday, Edwards picked up the endorsement of the Transport Workers Union of America here.

4. One of my big disappointments in the primaries has been the way the
media has Al Gore'd Edwards. it really upsets me. they portray him as some shyster, opportunist and vain. they don't take him serious.
This guy was our 04 vp nominee. He should be given the respect he has earned and he is a very deep thinker and passionate about the issues.
I hate the trivalization of our elections.
The press went after Gore because they were obsessed by having someone you wanted to have a beer with as president. so they destroyed Gore and tried to Edwards

7. Tit For Tat, illinoisprogressive
they do it to Obama too. They continually quote him out of context. If Barack Obama even hints at something that doesn't fit the so called conventional wisdom on foreign policy, they try to make him sound like some dumb kid who doesn't know squat. You know, one definition of insanity is continually trying the same thing and expecting a different result. By that measure, Obama may be the only sane one running for President! :P
