10. Hey, I just had a talk with a good friend who is one of the good guys,

and she said there are too many fucking racists in this country to elect a black president. And she said it with great sadness in her voice. ...whenever I ask a question about current events, most of the adults in my life reply "I haven't had time to listen to the news much lately" or words to that effect...I did get a thrill of hope however when I read my daughters (17) history paper and she was going on about how government is there to protect our rights, not grant them to us...
