When I hear Glenn Beck's voice I feel like I need a shower.
I just heard him in the other room doing some kind of rant. I swear, I think he is worse than O'Lielly or Limbaugh. I really hate him. A lot. That's all. I just felt compelled to say that.

1. Beck is a great example of someone who has learned how to work a mic
That voice is pure false bravado radio announcer voice.

6. They usually don't but on Tuesday, he had a good night...
Drawing 163k of the covet 25-54 market while Tweety only managed to attract 160k...

BTW, n Tuesday, Keith snagged 357k of those coveted eye balls while Billy O. had 582k...

Keith is doing great against Billy O...

One thing we have to remember is that far more cable systems carry Fox than MSNBC...

4. last night he went off on Keith O.
I passed by it while surfing channels, and like passing a car crash, I couldn't help but look for a couple of minutes.

It was pathetic. He is (a) clearly jealous of Keith's success, (b) incapable of distinguishing between news and commentary. His claim (or at least as much as I could stand to listen to of it) is that everything Keith does is slanted and that he has no right to criticize either Faux Noise or anyone else. He included himself with a comment to the effect of "At least I'm honest about what I do."

The man is a complete waste of airtime, resources, and oxygen. Why CNN continues to give him a platform to spew his garbage is beyond comprehension.

John Stewart described him quite aptly a few months ago:

Glenn Beck: the man who says what people who aren't thinking are thinking.

5. OH my GOD!! KO is 'slanted'?? Like Beck isn't?
I think the thing that makes me want to puke the most is that CNN acts like he is a real person.

8. Keith knows how to snark better
Beck just yaps like an annoying dog barking at the sky, late at night for no reason. CNN should face reality: this guy is an idiot!

10. I got a drive-by soiling, too, only he was going off on Kucinich
Kucinich didn't sign a Sept. 11th resolution because he said it wasn't complete, and that the country needed to understand the lies told for war and the lies still being told. Beck said this put a target on our troops and a target on us, and was otherwise bloviating about what a traitor Kucinich and all us lefties are. I was unable to figure out the connection between telling the truth and being part of al-qaeda, but that's the kind of guy Beck is. It says a lot about CNN that they give this guy a show. CNN wants more war real bad.

11. While Beck is a total fucking idiot
My complaint is not that he is on the air - let some media owner commit station suicide. My complaint is that there are ten becks for every KO. There simply must be a leveling.

14. I think that is probably due to the number of stations he's on
his show replaced Tony Snow on a lot of stations when old Ton went to lie for W. If Thom Hartmann or Steph etc were on that many stations they'd be on top.
Beck gets the station because he is syndicated by a company owned by ClearChannel which owns 1200 stations. So CC puts its own products on its own stations and then they are successful. Catch 22
