6. How long before we see a post that says Hillary was a coward for voting no... |
|
And that Obama was the courageous one for not voting....

I wasn't a big fan of the ad but censuring public interest groups is not the Senate's business ...
It also sets a dangerous precedent; hopefully this precedent will come back to bite the GOOPERS in the ass...

10. Agree. This was a stupid amendment. |
|
We should be attacking those that voted YES, not praising those that voted NO.

12. Yes. Particularly because the thing was worded in such a way... |
|
... that anyone voting 'no' is going to get the usual GOP poo flung at them: "Oh, so you SUPPORT personal attacks on General Petraeus? You SUPPORT attacks on our soldiers?"
The usual shit, but someone's got to stand up and say, "Fuck off, you're not fooling anyone with this crap."
I'm glad HRC was among those who did.

I didn't like the ad... I think it crossed the line but it's not up to the Senate to cenure public interest groups...

Good for her. Not my first choice, but I'm warming up to her everyone time she steps up and does the right thing.

Especially since she's been attacked specifically about this ad, because she didn't condemn it. This was her chance to do so, and she stood up.
Remember, Hillary knows, more than most, about the right wing machine and what words can do. So yes, this ultimately benefits her. So what? She did the right thing.

21. One could well argue that Hillary never misses a chance to pander to a particular constituency |
|
The constituency in this case being MoveOn.org.
