Options??
Well now we have it. We have our 3 front runners saying we could be in this occupation/debacle for at least 6 more years. We have 'Hillary' voting on what could be the 'front' for starting an Iran escapade. Everyone is sounding/looking pretty hawkish these days.

We elected this congress to end the fiasco. Now it seems they've given up on that! The dream of a 'kinder and gentler nation' is fast fading. 'MORE OF THE SAME' seems to be taking over.

Tell me, if you can...WHO are you people voting for now? I seriously don't know what to do, and I want to hear from others as to what they are thinking and how they are leaning on their vote!

No, I CAN'T just change the subject, move on to another topic, look for other issues. Just looking for some other opinions..thought this would be a good place to get started. I've always voted, my whole life. Now I'm stumped!!

1. I think Edwards was misinterpreted.
He said he could not promise to have every troop out, but he also indicated that he wants to end a major presence there very quickly.

Dodd and Richardson also indicated that they would pull out quickly.

4. This is what you get when you're locked into all-or-nothing.
Pulling out occupational troops and keeping 5k Marines to protect that giant embassy (assuming that's viable mind you) wouldn't be good enough for your standards or for a great many people; nothing short of a complete 100% pullout will satisfy a lot of people on the left. And these candidates do not intend to make an iron-clad promise that they will not completely pull out of the country, even if the "war" part is ramped down.

7. I remember VE and VJ day and we still have troops in Japan and Germany. Same with Korea.
Why would Iraq be any different?
