Poll question: 10-7-2007 DU 2008 straw poll |
Keep this kicked for awhile, even though it's only a DU poll on all announced Democratic 2008 candidates for POTUS.

1. Damn, everytime I see POTUS, I think |
piece of shit. Do you think Bush has been in there too long? It's going to take some time to actually think President of the United States, when I see POTUS after the election.

2. Interesting observation |
At this point Clinton tails in this poll yet the national media tells she is leading BIG. And on this forum, the most vocal members are those who support Clinton.
Verry, verrrry interesting

4. Four years ago most DU polls were won by Kucinich or Clark |
DU is not necessarily representative of Democrats as a whole.

12. Electable must be number one factor |
we should always be helping keep the Democratic candidates as the most trustworthy and electable in the polls with the Republicans as the party that has been leading the Nation in the wrong direction and as such is not trustworthy and is now unelectable in any leadership role

15. Obama polls worse and worse on DU everytime |
He used to beat Hillary 2-1 on all DU polls. Now she usually beats him by 30+%. Maybe if Obama supporters would talk about the issues every once in a while, rather than why Hillary is the spawn of satan, they would gain some support.

16. Interesting observation part II |
I posted my observations of this poll yesterday shortly after it was initiated. It looks like nothing has changed, Edwards still out in front and Hillary is way back there. Yet we will all get flamed by the Hillary supporters as they are the most vocal of the supporters on this forum. Sometimes the boldness and brashness of a candidates supporters turns me off to the candidate if I had not already been turned off already.

23. I support Kucinich, but I voted for my second choice in this poll: Joe Biden |
Why? Is not because I agree with on every issue, because I don't. Among those having a chance at the nomination, Biden doesn't bullshit around and he doesn't triangulate issues. After 8 years of Bush bullshit, the last thing I need to hear is 4 years of Clinton bullshit. Biden is a straight shooter!
