The audacity of Rush Limbaugh never ceases to amaze me. According
to my local radio station here in West Palm Beach, (www.wjno.com) Rush will be making a statement in about an hour re the win of Al Gore and the Nobel... It can be streamed by the way.
Rush must be under the impression that he was a serious contender and this would be his "concession" speech???? Takes a lot of balls....

...and his repeated overreaching (such as this) only accelerates his decline - none too soon, IMO.

9. He is still carried by a lot of stations here in NWFL, but since
he skated on two drug charges in a ZERO Tolerance state, his listeners have dwindled. At the job sites, the radios used to blare with Limbaugh. You could see painters, rockers, plumbers sitting in their old trucks, eating a sandwich for lunch while listening to Lush.

Now, nothing. No one talks about him or what he says but the liberals. If it wasn't for the AFRTS contract, he'd probably disappear.

The working man knows that he would have gotten 35 years for what Lush did, and they know that the political system saved him--put him above the law. They resent it.

put on his "I'm happy for Mr. Gore" or some other crapola like that. He's been damaged badly by the "phony soldier" event so I'm thinking the "Mr. Nice Guy" role will be his MO. By the way, if you stream onto WJNO, Rush would be making his statement on Glen Beck. I just thought you nice people should be warned...

that would require him accepting that he was damaged. Much of the media gave equal weight to his distortion of what he said and that he was attacking those who were phony or who lied. What amazed me was that Limbaugh was treated with a degree of respect that would have been unthinkable a decade ago by most of the accounts. He was slammed more on the Michael J Fox story. Clear Channel in fact excused Limbaugh because of "his decades of supporting the troops". I'm sure he took that as vindication. This tells you where the country and media are.

He will more likely attack the Norwegians as worse than the French. Claim they hate America and that they are socialists. (Norway is a fantastic beautiful country of really great people. Last year, we were fortunate enough to attend the wedding of a former au pair. Spending a week in that community - all I can say is that the US could learn a lot from Norway. )

4. Some Americans will demean and degrade almost anything
That someone felt the need to nominate him was insulting enough- the fact that this foul excuse for a human will now pipe out even more trash on the public airwaves is an utter embarrassment.

6. But, but, how can someone win a nobel pushing a hoax?
The denial machine will implode over the next week or two.

8. The denial machine will thrive - they don't believe in the Nobel Prize either
they whined for weeks when Carter got one.
