Obama's statement on Gore and the Nobel Peace Prize
:patriot:

By having the courage to challenge the skeptics in Washington and lead on the climate crisis facing our planet, Al Gore has advanced the cause of peace and richly deserves this reward. His voice and his vision have awakened the conscience of America to the urgency of this threat, and now we must take bold action so that our children inherit a planet that is cleaner, safer, and more peaceful for generations to come.

3. Well said would have been "I would gladly run for Vice-President
on his ticket if he chose to run."

6. That would be premature and corrupt the moment.
This is NOT the time to talk political ticket publicly. This is Gore's moment. Period.

If a joint ticket is discussed between these two men, that will be done privately and then announced when they deem appropriate.

Obama's statement for this occasion is perfect as it is.
