Just a cube-rat, "administrative assistant" but at a State Museum. My job isn't education, but my job lets the educators do their jobs.

I wanted to go to college for Oceanography but the kids came along. I've been toying with going back to college after the kids are out on their own. I grew up partially on Cape Cod and I've always loved the ocean.

30. I was the opposite.
I was 30, working as a retail sales manager, and single. I had grown disenchanted with the rat race and figured I was going to be a life time bachelor so I decided to do something I really enjoyed. I ended up with a degree in oceanography, a wife, and 2 kids.

How about accounting? It's not really "financial." That's me.

Also, administrative positions are missing (Human Resources, secretaries, legal assistants, event planners, admin. assistants, receptionists) - it covers a lot of ground.

You're probably right. Once my sick mom's situation gets cleared up, I have some ideas that I think will work. Unfortunately, after more than 2 years out of the industry (I was in IT for 25 years), that career is over.

But I can't say that I miss it
