So ... condemning the Armenian Genocide is harmful to relations with an ally |
|
during a time of war ...
but constantly spouting that the Soviet Union killed more people than Hitler (every time worker protections come up, or trying to pay for the war) is not harmful to a current ally?

3. I don't know why it upsets the Turks. |
|
The Ottomans nearly succeeded in committing genocide of the Armenians. Shortly thereafter the Turks successfully rebelled against the Ottomans exiling them from the new nation of Turkey.
So the current government of Turkey destroyed the people who destroyed the Armenians.
