Yahoo headline: GOP hopefuls courting the religious right
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/usa_republicans_christians_dc

McCain is quoted as saying he's the only candidate who's been pro-life all along. I can't help but think, with what, 6.6 billion and counting, that the issue that neither side ever even THINKS about on the abortion issue is the fact that too many people are literally destroying the planet that sustains (albeit barely at this point) us all, yet the morons can only think about 'saving' every unborn... and as I've pointed out before, they're only Pro-Birth, not truly Pro-Life (they don't give a crap what happens to them after they're born, in other words, nor do they care about whatever the circumstances are/were that led someone to an abortion).

Also, can I just throw this in? I realize that hate begetting hate isn't a good thing, but I can't help it - I truly, truly loathe and despise the Religious Right, or as I prefer to call them, the 'Religious' Wrong. They brainwashed and stole my only surviving brother, which is a big part of my feelings, obviously, but I also think that they are almost completely and totally hypocritical, with many of them being mean, prejudiced, greedy, often self-centered, power-mad (their leadership, anyway)... all of which REAL religions, and truly religous people, are not for. At least theoretically.
