A little insight into Monkey Boys aproval ratings...
In another post it was shown in an ARG national poll that:(hang in there the good part is at the bottom of this post)

"George W. Bush's overall job approval rating has dropped to 25% as nearly seven in ten Americans say the national economy is getting worse according to the latest survey from the American Research Group. This matches the lowest approval rating for Bush recorded by the American Research Group.

Among all Americans, 25% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 67% disapprove. When it comes to Bush's handling of the economy, 23% approve and 67% disapprove.

Among Americans registered to vote, 26% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 67% disapprove. When it comes to the way Bush is handling the economy, 25% of registered voters approve of the way Bush is handling the economy and 67% disapprove.

Approval among Republicans has dropped back to 67%. In September, 80% of Republicans approved of the way Bush was handling his job. In August, 66% of Republicans approved of the way Bush was handling his job.

The results presented here are based on 1,100 completed telephone interviews conducted among a nationwide random sample of adults 18 years and older. The interviews were completed October 18 through 21, 2007. The theoretical margin of error for the total sample is plus or minus 2.6 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

Overall, 25% of Americans say that they approve of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president, 67% disapprove, and 8% are undecided."
...
Down a ways on the links page you find THIS:

Among Republicans (33% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 67% approve of the way Bush is handling his job and 23% disapprove. Among Democrats (39% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 2% approve and 97% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job. Among independents (28% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 12% approve and 76% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job as president.
----------------------------------------------

What this says is that the eligble voting population is almost evenly split between the two parties and independents.

Now someone explain to me why some of the stupid fucking Democratic candidates are courting votes from the evangelists? Evangelists appear to be the second most hated group by independents, after the Neo-CONS. I believe if I were advising a candidate which group to pander to it wouldn't be the twirly-eyed religious nuts.

2. Because their strategists and their pollsters and their advisers
all come fromm the same pool of "talent" being drawn on by the Republicans, and the corporate media, and the "independent" polling companies. They all think the same way & see the same things so they all come up with the same answer.

Of course it has nothing in common with reality.

3. Clinton's approval rating was what Bush's disapproval rating is now
and yet they were able to impeach Clinton, for less then the impeachable offenses that Bush has commited.

Just rediculous.

7. I was saying that Bush's disapporval rating
is what Clinton's approval rating was.

4. You are Part of the reality based community. The consulting classes and pundits
along with the candidates belong in the status quo community.

8. Clinton had a better approval rating with Republicans,
during impeachment, than Bush has had, overall, for months.

Hillary, btw, has a 48% approval rating in NY...

...among NY Republicans.
